Went with the family today and had a Sunday lunch, must say it's the best I've had for a while. We booked a table and I would advise other to do the same as it was very busy and popular whilst we were there. Will return

Good selection of real ales although not always delivered in good condition. In fairness they do allow you to try ales in one third of a pint glasses. I have only eaten here once and it was very disappointing. All in all it is a busy family pub with an outdoor play area. The bar also has books and games available to keep children occupied.

Was done out very nicely, lot better than it used to be in side, nicely decorated with lot's of Santa's around , really liked the fact that we could take our dog's if wanted to as well. Food was great fresh veg big portion size, couldn't manage it all, could have done with being a bit hotter. But they were full to bursting and our group was big, pud was really nice again big portion size. As I used to cook in pubs long time ago, I can appreciate all the hard work you've all put in we will be using you again. One other thing the car park was very well lit. WELL DONE TO ALL.

Food was lovely, service was friendly but could have been a little faster. They lost one star because they didn't have any food allergy information - a member of our group has a severe allergy and needed clear information about ingredients (which restaurants are legally required to have). Staff were not clear about which main course dishes might contain dairy, and there was no dairy free dessert option. Responsibility for guessing which food is safe shouldn't be pushed onto a paying customer.

A little Gem of the area, the Old Elm Inn is one of the more traditional pubs hidden away.Offering a decent kids outdoor play area, traditional home cooked food, great beer & ale, a nicely laid out pub with comfortable lounge area, bar area & large dining area, if you want to enjoy a coffee, drink or a meal, there's somewhere for you to get comfy and enjoy your time there. The meals I've had there have been great. Even my parents were impressed. Will definitely be a returning customer.
